HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

Well, it has been a long time again! It is harder to find the time than I thought it would be. After catching up today, I have decided that smaller, quick posts are a good idea instead of making a big deal out of each one. We'll see how long this lasts! :)
So, here is a quick update on my little sweethearts:

Noah is almost two and a half, and he is sure acting like it! He is testing his bounderies and my patience! He actually enjoys being in the corner, so I have tried making him sit on a "naughty spot." According to those guidelines, about 2 minutes is appropriate, but he really doesn't seem to mind it. So, that is not working. He is just being two, but when you have said the same thing a million times just to hear this little person tell you NO and turn their back on you, it really takes a lot of patience. I honestly always thought that when people talked about this time being so difficult I couldn't really understand why. Of course now I realize that I only spent a short amount of time with their kids. Kids are always worse with their own parents, and the part that makes it hard is that it is a constant. So, all my dear friends with younger babies, prepare yourselves!! Even the BEST kids turn into monsters for a while. :) If he wasn't so darn cute....On the positive side, he is scary smart. He can say everything, can say the alphabet, knows his shapes, colors, and what every kind of tool is (Dad taught him that). He loves to "fix" things and he LOVES being outside. He wants to help me do EVERYTHING - which is very cute, but can be tricky - like when he insists on helping feed Jonah cereal. :) But, nothing beats him greeting Steve when he gets home by saying, "glad to see you Daddy!!" Or when he says "I love you" without any prompting. He also likes to pray outloud and can do the sign language to "Jesus Loves Me." It more than make up for the difficult part!

Jonah is now about 7 and a half months old. He amazes me everyday. I cannot believe how much he is doing already!! He is crawling and pulling up to his knees. He has tried standing up once, but I think he was scared to. He loves playing with Noah now and watches every move he makes (God help me). He has cut 2 teeth, although they aren't all the way up yet. He is eating all kinds of fruit, but he is not big on veggies. I do try. He also is eating those Gerber puffs. He likes those a lot. I can't get over how big he is. He is wearing 9-12 month shirts and PJs and 12 month pants!!! He is a giant! And he is heavy as a Chevy!

As for me and Steve, not too much to report. I am still working full time at home. Because I am also taking care of the kids, there is so much back and forth with work that it feels like I work 24/7. But, I wouldn't trade it for daycare! Steve is still at Easter Seals and doing well. He is still picking up extra jobs here and there also, so we are always so busy!
